Wedgewood Pharmacy Executive Receives Masters Degree and Regulatory Affairs Certification

(Swedesboro NJ, May 22, 2007) Eden M. Venti, Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs head for Wedgewood Pharmacy, has earned the Regulatory Affairs Certification (RAC) distinction awarded by the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS) and the Regulatory Affairs Certification Board (RACB). She also has received her Master of Science degree in Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs from the Temple University School of Pharmacy.

Venti, 35, is a resident of Newark, Delaware. She earned her B.A. degree magna cum laude from the University of Delaware in 2001.

The RAC is awarded to individuals who perform well on a comprehensive examination that tests knowledge of FDA and related U.S. laws, regulations, policies and guidelines, with an emphasis on drugs, medical devices and biologics. The RAC designation is a mark of professional distinction identifying individuals committed to excellence , career advancement and pursuit of knowledge. The certification program is designed to elevate professional standards, distinguish individuals demonstrating knowledge essential to regulatory affairs, and enhance individual performance. Professionals with RAC status are among the current and rising leaders in regulatory affairs and related health industries.

Temple University's Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs program provides training in the latest pharmaceutical quality issues, regulatory requirements, scientific concepts and research techniques.
