Randy Burrows

Randy Burrows, director of business development for Wedgwood Pharmacy, has 25 years' experience in the animal health industry. He manages outside sales force, corporate accounts and distribution for the company and has deep ties to the equine industry.

For 12 years, Burrows held a USTA Class A trainer/driver's license. For five of those years he was an assistant trainer to Hall of Fame Driver, Joe O'Brien. During his years in harness racing, he trained numerous world-champion trotters and pacers.

Prior to joining Wedgewood Pharmacy in 2003, Burrows was the marketing manager for equine products with Pharmacia Animal Health (Kalamazoo, MI). He also has held positions with A&G Pharmaceuticals (Clarksburg, NJ); National Logistic Services (Owings Mills, MD); and Luitpold Pharmaceuticals (Shirley, NY).

Burrows is the first representative of industry to serve on the Rutgers University Board of Equine Advisors.

Randy holds an A.S. degree in Animal Science from The Ohio State University, Department of Animal Sciences.
